In short
Your nutrition, training and health data stays on your own device first. Of everything we read from Apple Health, only your daily step count goes to the server, and only so friend rankings can be worked out. Sleep, heart rate, HRV and burned energy never leave your device. Apart from that, only as much data as the features you actually use require ever reaches the server. We never sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

You need an account to use FormOn. Creating one asks for your name, your email address and a password, nothing else. We do not ask for your phone number, your address or any identity document. The user code used by the friends and competition features is generated on your device and stays the same.
You can delete your account from inside the app. Deleting it permanently removes both the records on your device and the ones on the server.
We use AI in two places, recognising food from a photo of your plate and generating recipes. Reading a nutrition label is not AI, it runs entirely on your device.
What is sent is not used to train models and is not kept after processing. Our server records only the call itself, meaning which feature ran, how long it took and how much processing it used. The photo you send is not kept. There is one exception on the text side. A search term that returns nothing from the catalogue is recorded, so we can see what is missing and add it to the database.
AI only recognises. Calorie and macro numbers come from our own nutrition database, never invented by a model. When an item has no match in the database we do not write a number, we flag that line for you to check.
The daily coach notes are not AI. They are worked out from your own data on your device.
FormOn Premium and the add-on packs are sold through the Apple App Store. We never see your card details, payment runs entirely on Apple's side.
Apple gives us only what is needed to verify a purchase. What we keep on our server is the transaction id Apple provides, which product you bought and the expiry date of your subscription. That record is what lets Premium open on the right account and be restored when you change device.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with ad networks. Only the infrastructure providers needed to run the service (hosting, AI processing) handle data on our behalf, bound by contract.
We respect your rights under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, and under Turkish data protection law (KVKK, law no. 6698). Legal basis: contract, in order to provide the service, and your explicit consent where health data is concerned.
Data on your device stays until you delete it. Data on the server is deleted when you delete your account.
Photos are the exception, they are never stored. Meal and nutrition label photos are processed only for that one recognition and deleted once the result comes back.
The subscription record is kept for as long as your account exists, so that your purchase can be verified against Apple, and is deleted along with your account.
You must be at least 16 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If we notice such a record we delete it.
If this text changes we update its date, and we tell you inside the app when the change is significant.
FormOn is not a medical device and cannot be used for diagnosis or treatment. The targets it calculates come from general formulas. Talk to your doctor about decisions concerning your health.
