Terms of use

By using FitOn you accept the terms below. The text is kept short and describes only what the app actually does.

What the app does

• FitOn is a tracking tool where the coach writes programs and sessions and the athlete logs meals, workouts and measurements.
• You pick coach or athlete when you sign up. That choice cannot be changed later. If you are both, you need two separate accounts.
• Entries you make while offline wait on your device and are sent once the connection returns.

Account and password

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give.
• The password must be at least eight characters and must not be shared with anyone.
• After many wrong attempts in a row the account is paused for a while for security.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account.

Who enters what

• Programs, targets and notes written by the coach belong to the coach and are their professional judgement.
• Entries made by the athlete belong to the athlete, who can export them as a single file at any time.
• Any photo you upload must be yours and must not infringe anyone else’s rights.
• Whoever enters the content is responsible for its accuracy. The app does not verify the values entered.

Health and responsibility

• FitOn is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe treatment and does not replace a doctor.
• Consider your own health when acting on nutrition and training decisions. Talk to your doctor if you have a condition.
• The figures in the app are estimates. Calorie and macro values are based on the data entered.

Membership

• There is a free plan and most of the app runs on it.
• There is no in-app purchase. Premium membership is bought only through the website.
• When membership ends the account drops to the free plan. Entered data is not deleted.
• Price, renewal and cancellation of the paid plan are described in the cancellation policy.

What is not allowed

• Using the app for an unlawful purpose or to harm someone.
• Trying to reach someone else’s account or to get past security boundaries.
• Sending bulk automated requests to the server or scraping data without permission.
• Uploading health or personal data that is not yours without permission.

Closing your account

• You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. The Delete my account row in your profile does this.
• Deletion cannot be undone. Downloading your data first is recommended.
• An account may be suspended or closed for a serious breach of these rules.

Changes to this text

• If the terms change, the new text is published on this screen and the date above is updated.
• Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new text.
